The doomed ship trembled and groaned around him as the lone figure made his way through the damaged halls. He carefully stepped over the corpse of a wealthy looking Rodian and raised his lightsaber using its orange glow to light his way.
Death.
Everywhere he looked in this ruined craft all he found was death.
“Salastar?” The gravely voice of his companion, the Noghri Bor’krom, mewed over his comm. “I’ve found the bridge. Everything’s dead here too, and someone shot the controls.”
“Understood,” Vousen Salastar said into his comm. “See if you can access the security vids, I want to

Using the Drakes I can summon, getting Metavox’s whole squad back to the gateway was a simple task. We walked besides them keeping them upright as they rode the small dragons.
“So that’s it?” Jayd asked. She was walking besides the eldest of the group. “I mean they’re going to be okay right?”
“Maybe.” I replied from my spot at the front of our little procession. I was walking between two drakes helping to support both mages “Yes they’re fine physically, but that doesn’t mean they’re not hurt.”

It would seem that Hyron’s definition of very important work meant digging in books. Cline heaved another large stack of tomes onto the desk next to his master with a big oof. “I think that was the last of them.” Cline said dusting his hands off.
“Thank you Cline,” Hyron replied without looking up from the journal he was studying. The feed from Ailith was hovering in the air next to him, flickering slightly from the heat of the candles beneath it. Ailith was currently locked in combat with a member of the Coven, it was hard to concentrate on the image with her view bobbing around as she tried to avoid
“Just keep running, that’s all I’ve got to do.”
Cali’s legs burned from exertion as she run through the ruined city streets. Rumbling crashes from buildings collapsing filled the air around her, coating her with dust and making it hard to breath.
“I have to get away.”
She lept over the remains of a wall and slid down a block of concrete. Her years in track in field were finally paying off. Even after running for what had to be three miles she was still able to keep going.
“BaBoom!” Cali stumbled to a halt at the earth shattering crash. a huge fiery mass came barreling through a buildin
“Do you ever wonder what it would be like if we weren’t here?”
“That’s a little vague don’cha think?”
“I mean, us personally. If we weren’t living right here right now, what would it be like.”
“You seem to have a high opinion of your own importance.”
“No, that’s the point. We’re not important in the grand scheme of things. So what would it be like if we weren’t here?”
“Well… I suppose there would be more oxygen to go around.”
“... seriously? Come on use that brain of yours.”

The city streets around me were in chaos. Bullets ripped through the air, and bombs left craters in the pavement shaking the mighty skyscrapers around me. My heart was aching with terror and shame. It was all my fault, all of this pain and death, rested on my shoulders alone.
I fell to my knees oblivious to the sharp prick of debris against my skin. In a haze of shock of I looked around at all the suffering I caused.

A Brief Overview of the ArchAngel Training Program
Perspective pilots are selected at the age of ten. They are chosen based on motor skills, reflexes, and innate fighting ability.
A total of twenty-four trainees are admitted into the program per cycle. They are split into squads of eight. These squads live together for the next two years. During this time, they are taught teamwork and organizational skills.
The first year is spent in classes teaching both regular subjects, and militaristic. The trainees also use simulators that work the same way as an ArchAngel in order to get them used to controlling two bodies at once.
After a year, once the trainees are used to the mechanics of piloting

Exiting from a gateway is never fun. There is a release of pressure as if you surfaced from a deep dive and your senses feel raw. Light hurts your eyes, sounds assault your ears, and your clothes scrap across your skin. This time was it felt like stepping into hell. The heat hit us like a punch to the gut, and the putrid smell of sulfur was unbearable.
“Everyone, spread out!” Chiorix took command quickly.
We did as he said and spread out. I found myself crouching behind a mound of rubble next to Jayd. “What happened here?” she asked.
“I don’t know.” The place was a disaster, “It loo

First, an Update
So my life has been... frustrating, as of late.
I lost the job I had over the summer, which in hindsight is actually a good thing. Some of there business ideas were a little underhanded and didn't sit very well with me. I just wish that I'd have more luck finding another job. There isn't many places hiring people in my field where I live. That said I haven't given up and will keep searching.
My Stories
I've been working on two different stories on and off, which I think I've mentioned before but meh, what ever. Anyways, The first one that I'm putting the most though into is Summoner. I've actually expended and rethought s
In this world filled with darkness and decay, warriors of light must step forward and make a stand. Turmoil rolls around us suffacating those in it's grasp. I will raise my sword and make a stand. I will pull those around me out of the darkness and together we will be a fire buring bright for all to see. My name is Draone, And I am a barer of flame.

So I have a full time job, (Have for a bit actually) and am currently being trained in web development. So I haven't had a lot of drawing time recently which really stinks since I want to learn how to use that drawing tablet I brought.
On a different note, My stories have been progressing quite a bit. I've been focusing on Summoner and ArchAngel. Summoner of course is know by anyone that actually keeps up with my page, Archangel is a mecha story that I've been working on with my brother.
I've mostly been expanding the universe for summoner and some time soon will be posting multiple bits of Lore.
I will continue to post the story of Summon
